What is a BarCamp ?

Barcamp is simply an ‘unconference’ – an ad-hoc gathering of people with the simple desire to share and learn in an open environment. They are open, participatory workshop-events, the content of which is provided by participants, where attendees share ideas, discuss interests, network and learn how to add value to their lives and make impact in their communities.

Barcamp Cape Coast 2017 is a free networking forum bringing people together for a day of learning, sharing, networking and mentoring. It will take place on September 9 at University of Cape Coast, the venue Sasakawa Conference Room.

The theme for this year is “Innovation & Professionalism to drive change in Education”. This event will be the 6th BarCamp in Cape Coast as it builds a network of young change makers, doers and entrepreneurs in Ghana. The GhanaThink Foundation has successfully organized 74 BarCamps and counting in Ghana.

What to expect?

  • Mentoring by professionals or entrepreneurs.
  • Networking with like-minded individuals – you could find your business or project partner
