Shatta Wale is undoubtedly one of the best and top artistes in Ghana now and one of the most consistent. He has a fan base that is so large and loyal he might be the only artiste with a fan base that large in Ghana. Most of his fans outside Ghana are Ghanaians and Africans living abroad. But there are apparently some non-Africans that are just huge reggae and dancehall lovers.

One of those people is a drummer on YouTube, known by his channel name, The Drummers’ Workshop at Norm’s Music. The Channel is run by a guy,  Adam Novick, who owns /works in a music music shop (we’re not exactly sure what he does there) on Staten Island, New York. It is basically a channel to show off drum skills and covers of Reggae/Dancehall and Afropop styled music. The videos do not have many views despite the guy’s great skill in drumming but guess which ones that do have a lot of views? Yes, that’s right, Shatta Wale hit songs.

Below is his amazing drum cover of Shatta Wale’s Forgetti:

Awesome huh? You can check out more of his videos on his YouTube Channel, The Drummers’ Workshop at Norm’s Music .

Whenever you’re in NYC, you can pop into his shop at
